18th Century French Louis XV Period Walnut Buffet 2 Corps

This is a fantastic Buffet 2 Corps handcrafted from solid and beautifully patinaed walnut during the reign of Louis XV by the middle part of the 18th century.  The tall and massive upper section is mounted by a flat molded cornice upon the straight façade featuring a pair of double paneled recessed doors revealing a large storage compartment sitting upon the buffet below offering additional storage thanks to a 2-drawer frieze and a bottom compartment; all standing on the adorably scrolled apron supported by boldly sculpted cabriole legs. Note the pull out leaves located in between both section. Hardware is in original condition, only the shelves have been replaced at some point for sturdiness. This piece is in overall good condition, some minor scratches and dents can be seen here and there but nothing obvious. This item is for sale as is. Circa date 1750. Dimensions 98 ½”high/ 59 ½”wide/ 27”deep.
