	A 19th century silver plated punch bowl. Large and magnificent! It is in the most stunning pattern I have ever seen for a punch bowl. Take a look at the pictures and notice how the all over elaborate floral design just flows and adulates completely around the body of the bowl. The pedestal of the bowl is equally as exciting. The top edge of the bowl is also fabulous and ornate with a naturalistic form flowing throughout the entire edge of shells and grape vines. The bowl is in very fine condition having only six or seven tiny little pitted spots and some scratches on the base interior. My idea would be to use this as a centerpiece anywhere and make a magnificent flower arrangement in it. It is just so stunning – truly a work of art! I don’t know who made this punch bowl but there are hallmarks on the bottom and I have taken a picture of it for you. The hallmarks are of a stylistic crown with a star inside a square punch on either side of the crown. Underneath the crown there are three shields with the initials C, S, and then C again. There are no other markings on the bowl. It must be some fantastic sliver company – I can tell you that!!!!!! The punch bowl measures a grand 10 3/8” at highest with a 15 ½” overall diameter.
