	Precious little 19th century bird bath inkwell , this is a delicately grand little desk or vanity item ,It has a shapley marble base & there is a tree in the center with a bird perched on top looking down on a carved mother of pearl basin , which I assume is a bird bath or fountain,this tree is flanked on each side by a cut glass inkwell ,this entire sculptural inkwell is mounted in bronze dore`& measures 8" long x3"wide x 4 7/8"high to top of bird , The over all condition is very good having some minor nicks off two bottom corners of the glass wells & are not noticible when sitting in the stand & a small chip out of the mop basin which I tend to think was in the making because it looks too perfect to be a damage ,A glorious little piece that would truly make a wonderful gift!
