Figural Candlestick Bronze Art Nouveau

Really Beautiful Art nouveau Candle stick. As you can see by the pictures this candlestick has the most seductive movement, the very thing that made the art of this era so famous. This candlestick is in bronze with a double tone patina. With the female body in a very rich brown & the trailing lily pad base & candleholder in a black enamel. The color contrast is quite spectacular. The mark on the bottom is MMA 1938.From the metropolitan Museum in 1938 from an exhibit in that year. The condition is very good having only some minor light scratching on the base. Measuring 10 ½” High & the base is 5 1/8” x 4 1/8”
