	French Mother Of Pearl Gaming Counter Antiques: Palais Royal: 4 Painted Tokens, 1820
	This is the first complete Set that I have ever seen. French, Paris Palais Royal, mother of pearl notched carved miniature box with slide cover. The cover is wonderfully reticulated with a center space that could have been used for a monogram. Slide off the lid and there are 4 beautifully painted gaming tokens. They are of the 4 card suits and look to be the King of each. The tokens are approx. 1/2 by 1 inch and painted on a small thin mother of pearl disc. A little natural wear to the paint.
