Highly sought after Vintage Hickey Freeman FLIGHT COAT! A vintage classic. Made with fine tattersall check wool . A hugely popular Prep look during the 1960's. **Classic straight cut with notched lapel, three button single breasted. Nicely defined shoulder line. 2 Pockets. There is a back vent for ease of movement...which has a button. **The coat has a date and owner tag (which all customized men's garments usually have). It belonged to a Geoffrey Newcomb, and was tailored for him in 1969. **This vintage "Hickey Freeman FLIGHT COAT" features hand customized tailoring. The finest quality which you would expect from Hickey Freeman...their label always means the best of the best in men's clothing....and it is quite costly. **The tattersall check wool is in browns, it is a medium weight. The lining is brown satin. Pearlized buttons. All original. At least 3 season overcoat. CONDITION: Overall excellent to very good condition. Some minor tiny repairs to wool to fix tiny moth holes....there are approx 4, and they are at the bottom of the coat. Lining has some fading. SIZE: Length: 43", chest (measuring flat armpit to armpit)...23-1/2" or 46-1/2", sleeve length: 26", shoulders 18-1/2" (across top). Approx a Med to a Large.
