The great one, I love this inkwell .Dating from the Art Nouveau era .Carved in the most stunning & delicious polished onyx. The central portrait bust of a Historical Figure (might be Guttenberg?) in Bronze & flanked on either side with matching indwells .The detail of the bronze is quite exceptional & the patina so rich & Lusterous.This inkwell sits on attached pieces of the same onyx. Of course it is very heavy In my opinion this is a very good investment piece, one that you can live with & enjoy while it accelerates in value Measuring 17 ½” wide x 10 ¼” deep 7” high to the top of the portrait bust.
