Superb English snuff box with painting of a King Charles Spaniel. Large size at 3 3/4 inches and made from ebonized papier mache. From the early 1800's and the condition of the painting is amazing. I see no rvidence of overpaint or repair

Green background and dog is lovely in colors of browns with white . His eyes are quite amazing.

Only one small chip to the lid rim at 7 o'clock
