No amount of description can do justice to this case having exquisite maki-e gold lacquer work in this exquisite motif. You will probably never see the like of this piece outside of a museum. Size is approximately 4.5" by 3". Circa 1870 and in fantastic condition with a very minor line on the lid .20" long. Fantastic opportunity!
