	1775 French School Miniaiture Portrait Ivory Louis XVI Lady Fine Art: Miniature Portrait
	1775 French School Miniature Portrait of a Lady. Framed in a wooden frame with gold gilt trim. Portrait is approx. 1 1/2 by 1 3/4 inches and framed it is approx. 3 3/4 inches square. She is wearing a pink dress over a white chemise trimmed with ribbons. A double string of seed pearls and her powdered hair is upswept. Very sweet face with demure features. Blue sky and cloud background. I have not examined it outside of frame though ivory appears to be in good condition. French School is quite popular and this is a wonderful example
