Pair of 17th Century Iron Studded, European Oak Doors from France –Good Antique Condition Commensurate with Age – Wear to bottoms of doors– Original Iron Hardware has rust.
This pair of antique hinged, iron studded doors were made from European Oak in the late 1600’s. They were most likely farm doors as they have the capability to keep one door stationary while the other door opens, or both doors can open by unlocking the center hinge. The front planks are horizontal and decorated with iron studs. The back planks are vertical and have very thick iron hardware. Today, these doors could be used for a wine room entrance, garden room doors and more.
