1800's French Miniature portrait of a lovely 18th C dressed woman of the court signed faintly D. saint and framed in a Tortoise Shell frame.

Portrait is approx. 2 1/2 inches in diameter and framed is approx. 3 1/4 inches.

Powered wig with long ringlets and a rose decoration which is matched at her dress. Pink gown with white diaphanous shawl. Beautiful face and muted brown background.

Frame is lovely in a caramel color..quite significant and back is adorned with a bronze and silver urn with flowers.

Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Strong colors
