1800's Military Officer Miniature Portrait On Ivory Framed

Approx. 2 3/4 by 3 1/2 inches and framed in original wood frame with gold gilt trim is approx. 5 1/4 by 6 1/4 inches.

Nicely painted with very realistic details to his face....blue eyes, drawn mouth and grey curled hair.

Wearing a black jacket with pewter buttons, a gold stand up collar and black tie. A small white lace medallion or some sort of rank identity is at his throat.

In good condition with strong colors and no chips or cracks to the ivory
