	Circa 1820 American In Memorium Miniature portrait of a child....Signed. Portrait is approx. 1 3/4 by 2 inches and framed in ebonized frame is approx. 3 3/4 by 4 inches. Sweet and Sentimental painting of a child with blond hair, brown eyes. Wearing almost a toga like lace garment over one shoulder. which gives the painting a classical look. Face is superbly painted with just a touch of blush to the cheeks. Signed in the corner of the left elbow what looks to be EJE. Beautiful condition with no chips or cracks.
