18th C American Heart Shaped Box Tin With Tortoise Shell

Approx. 5 1/2 inches by 3 inches tall.

Hand hammered with Tortoise veneer on both the lid and the box.

The underside of the box shows the magnificent Crafts work.

Also has brass mounts.

Overall condition for over 200 years is amazing.

The lid seems to have a little bit of putty work which is covering a crack to the brass trim. The tortoise is excellent
