18th C Italian Crest Pillow With Silk And Metal Threads

An 18th century silk and metallic Italian crest with a Ducal crown with strawberry leaves, a fleur-de-lis and a rare two headed winged wyvern, a 16th century mythical bird, which stands for valor and protection. Hand couched/stitched on a vintage red/wine colored silk velvet that has been shaped into a crest and overlaid onto Scalamandre designer macadamian colored silk velvet. Edged with a scalloped metallic trim and metal cording, finished with a metallic tassel at the bottom, finished on the sides with antique gold/copper metal fringe.  

Condition: Excellent condition with some tarnishing to the metal parts of the crest which is typical for its age and slight rub/wear along edges of red silk velvet.
