18th Century Aubusson Tapestry Pillow With Rare Wooden Gilt Tassels

A rare 18th century French Aubusson tapestry fragment that was once a chair seat worked in colored silks and wools depicting a floral and fauna motif. Edged with a metal eyelash fringe trim with rare wooden gilt tassels and metal curly caterpillars, all on deep moss green silk velvet.    

Condition: One very small hole where this piece was cut to fit a chair seat otherwise in clean fresh bright condition.
