18th Century Belgium Oak Commode A Ventaux

Here is a rare Commode a Ventaux, originally coming from Belgium and handcrafted from solid Hungarian oak by the middle part of the 18th century. This crossbow shaped piece features a total of 3 drawers, which are actually faux-drawers revealing a large storage compartment with the original shelves. The pediment consists of a nicely scrolled apron centering shell pattern supported by claw feet. Note several scratches and dents here and there due to the age but nothing obvious. This piece is in overall good condition and for sale as is. Circa date 1750. Dimensions 41 ½”high/ 51 ¾”wide/ 27”deep. This item is currently located in France.
