18th Century French Louis XV Period Oak Buffet 2 Corps

Here is a handsome buffet 2 corps handcrafted from solid oak by the end of the reign of Louis XV. This splendid piece is originally coming from the Ardennes (North of France) and is topped by a flat molded cornice sitting above the elegant upper part providing a pair of doors mounted with chicken wire and standing upon the buffet below providing one drawer above a pair of recessed paneled doors supported by cabriole legs. Note the efficient storage capacity provided by this stunning piece. Hardware is in original condition. This piece has several scratches and dents due to the age. This item is for sale as is.
