	This is a tall and massive handcrafted armoire made from solid walnut during the reign of King Louis XV by the second half of the 18th century. This impressive piece is mounted by the classical “Chapeau de Gendarme” cornice sitting upon a lovely pair of arched recessed paneled doors revealing a very large storage compartment with 3 shelves and an interior drawer. The pediment is nicely scrolled and insures stability and sturdiness with boldly sculpted feet. Circa date 1760. Dimensions 99”high/ 53”wide/ 24”deep.
