A fine 18th century Italian Oil painting on Copper portraying the Annunciation of the miraculous Incarnation of Christ. Religious Art. Baroque setting with angels in the foreground and Jehovah watching from the heavens. Very detailed, the richly dressed archangels are seen holding the lily of virginity & announcing to Mary that the holy spirit will make her mother of God. The background has a dove flying down from the heavens, a beautiful blue lit sky and columns with balasters. An exceptional work of art with fine detail to the composition. Condition: some minor, insignificant loss and small inpaint is noted. No signature found and unframed.
