1930´s Black Liquid Satin Couture Gown For Oscars Red Carpet

This is an exquisite vintage black liquid satin evening gown with a train.  It is couture and dates from the 1930s.  This gown screams glamour and will standout at the-Oscars on the red carpet.  It is made of a heavy black liquid satin fabric with a ruched gathered front.  This extraordinary evening gown has a bias cut style and is sleeveless, with a plunging V neckline and back.  It has a keyhole opening hook and eye closure on the back.  There is a dramatic large draping train back with fabric finger loop on the hem for holding the train up while dancing.  This exquisite custom made elegant evening gown came from a private Hollywood estate and looks similar to designs from Charles James.  The gown measures 56 inches long, with a 20 inch long back train, 38-inch hips, a 28-inch waist, and 38-inch bust.  It is in excellent clean wearable condition.
