1940s Schiaparelli Style Dress * Beaded Jewels

*****SALE*****Vintage 1940's Beaded Tailored dress in the manner of Schiaparelli.  Very tailored, with flamboyant beaded accent.   The golden age of Hollywood produced some amazing fashions.  The hand done jeweled and beaded details on the sleeves and shoulders of this dress are amazing.  This is a vintage 1940's Little Black Dress...and is drop dead gorgeous!

**The vintage dress has the Schicks, Long Beach...store label.  And also the Charles Armour, New York Label.  (Norman Norell worked with Charles Armour early in his career....Armour was a New York wholesale fashion house that  produced gorgeous clothing)

**The style is classic 1940's.  Fabric is Black crepe.  The dress has a fuller top that drapes beautifully.  The waist area is fitted and defined with a cumberbun.  This ties in the back.  It has short sleeves (with shoulder pads), and zips up the side with a metal zipper.  The front has a simple V Neck.  The skirt is moderately full...really just the right amount of draping.  

**The dress really serves as a canvas for the magnificent jeweled pieces on the sleeves and shoulders.  These will frame a woman's face beautifully, and are fully complimented by the simple neckline.  The jeweled applique's are Schiaparelli pink crepe.  They feature gold beads, pearls golden bugle beads, faceted emerald green rhinestones that are set, and bezel set turquoise green rhinestones.

C O N D I T I O N:  Excellent.

S I Z E:  Length:  45", waist 27 1/4", Bust area...very blousy at least 42"
