	Circa 1950 Murano Glass Figural Statue of a woman with a fruit basket on her head...Archimede Seguso. Approx. 12 1/2 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter on glass base. Fabulous dark maroon with gold Aventurine coloring. She wears a long dress with apron. A shawl covering her head and a scarf around her neck. Her hands are over her head holding a basket of fruit. One of the most charming of its kind that I have ever seen. Very heavy and beautifully made. Her back torso has 3 what look to be glass inclusions or if they were chips..they are older and ground. These figural pieces sell on Murano Glass Websites for over 1500.
