1950's Red Velvet Clutch Or Opera Coat * A Classic

1950's Red Velvet Opera Style coat, or often called a Clutch, as you could clutch it together with your hands.  The 1950's Clutch coat usually did not have closures.  3/4 length sleeves, fuller body, shawl collar.  Lined in red acetate.  It has slash pockets on the sides. 

**The size and cut is great for today's woman.  The red is truly a pure red.   This is your classic Revlon Paint The Town Red!  The velvet is a cotton velvet.

**You can use these coats as long tunic jackets, throw on with your jeans, or wear them for evening wear.    

C O N D I T I O N:  Overall excellent gently worn condition.  Clean and ready to wear.  It has a few tiny spots...about the size of a ball point pen tip.  They are darkish, and do not really show unless you look for them.  The lining is in good condition...it is a rayon acetate and quite soft....maybe a bit faded.

S I Z E:  Sort of a One size fits most.  Length:  40",  it measures approx 46" around bust area, sleeves are approx 19".
