19th C Victorian Entirely Beaded Capelet - Superb

Beautiful Beaded 19th C Victorian Capelet.  It has shimmery black faceted beads.  The beadwork is done on a black silk faille capelet.  It has a high Mandarin style collar, hooks in the front, and has no arms.  The capelet just skims the top part of the arm.  There is a small bit of beaded fabric that would fall on the upper part of the arm. 

**This piece is finished beautifully with 5-1/2" long looped fringe which has great movement, and shimmers with the faceted beads.

C O N D I T I O N:  Sold as found.  Over all Very good .  Lining has a few repairs, but is now sturdy.  Beadwork in excellent condition with minimal loss.  This may need some minor fine tuning.

S I Z E:  Shoulder measurement is approx 14 1/2", it is 11" long from shoulder to bottom of fringe.  Collar is 14" at top and 16" at bottom where it joins the body of the piece.   Sort of one size...although bear in mind that it works best on small to medium small size women.  Any concerns, feel free to call or email.
