	19th Century French Empire Period Oak Buffet/ Petrin Furniture: Buffet, Cabinet, Sideboard, Vaisselier
	An elegantly simple buffet made from solid oak during the Empire period by the beginning of the 19th Century. This interesting piece is actually the combination of a Buffet with a Petrin, hidden by the rectangular removable top, and was primarily used for bread. Note the adorable façade flanked by boldly sculpted columns and featuring a pair of recessed paneled doors revealing an interior compartment with single shelf. Key and lock are in original condition. Circa date 1810. Dimensions 32”high/ 50”wide/ 25”deep.
