19th Century French Louis XV Style Vanity

A splendid Vanity made from pine during the reign of Napoleon III by the second half of the 19th century boasting its original and impressively sculpted serpentine shaped white carrera marble featuring an elaborate embellishment consisting of acanthus and floral patterns surrounding the original beveled mirror. The bottom part is made from solid pine and features a 2-frieze upon a pair of recessed paneled doors revealing a large storage compartment. Note that this item was originally built against a wall and that the interior back panel is recent (estimated to be 10-15 years old). Overall good condition, the bottom needs some refinishing (Included in the price). Note that the bowl and fauset are missing. Circa date 1860. Dimensions 76”high/ 45”wide/ 22”deep.
