	Circa 1870. Stunning English Papier-mache lap desk. Masterfully painted and inlaid with mother-of-pearl. Complete and original down to the lock and key. Finely embossed original green velvet desk surface, silver topped ink well and mother of pearl inlaid pen holder. The best work in papier-mache we have ever seen. Very fine original condition with old repair to the hinges. 16 1/2" wide x 4 1/4" tall x 12 1/2 deep. Price $1400.00 .
