70's Metallic Velvet Strapless Evening Gown

Vintage 1970's evening gown that is perfect for the holiday season.   Velvet and metallic...leaf motif... strapless top with softly full velvet skirt. Classic elegance. 

**Black velvet (not a silky velvet....not a cotton velvet...sort of in between) in soft folds to a moderately full skirt.  Strapless Bodice trimmed with a ruffle of self fabric.  Black voided velvet....or sort of a black nylon with black velvet abstracted leaves (depends on how you look at this) fabric.  Leaves are highlighted with metallic thread.

**Zips up the back with a nylon zipper.  The bodice is lined with a silky black lining and is boned.  We believe all fabrics are synthetics.  Easy care easy wear!  We picture the dress with and without a petticoat.

C O N D I T I O N:  Excellent condition.  PLEASE READ:  This is not a condition issue, I need to point out that the sides of the bodice seem to come up a bit higher than normal.  This might be intentional.  

S I Z E:  Length:  49", Bust area 35", waist 26"
