Aesthetic Movement Frame In Copper

Circa 1885.  Exceptionally beautiful, Aesthetic Movement  picture frame in a Japanesque Taste in solid copper. It is hard to describe the quality and condition of this wonderful frame, from the hi-relief sculptural quality of the flowers (iris), and bamboo exterior edge to the fine texture of the woven bamboo back round.  All original, very heavy with great original patina.  Fine condition with no damage or losses to the front and only one missing swivel picture holder on the rear.   10 " tall x 8" wide overall, the glass measures 6" x 4 1/4".  Price $495.
