Alphabet Russe – Evgenia Miroshnichenko – Hermes Carre Scarf BNIB
The background is kept in a light blue with a touch of grey while the left is done in slate grey. Details are featured in green, dark orange and many more. The hem is beautifully contrasted in turquoise. This is a stunning scarf which (depending on light conditions) shimmers from blue to grey.
‘Alphabet Russe’ was the first design of Evgenia Miroshnichenko, the creator of Zabavushka. All the letters resemble patterns of Russian birds, especially the bird Stratim. In Russian culture, Stratim sings the lullaby for the little children and is considered protector of the house and the family.
