This is an original authentic COURREGES, Paris, mid 1960's Purchased during the Kennedy years. It has the "Jackie" Look from its collar to its hem. Much of COURREGES original work is as timely today as the day it was made As is the jacket shown here Asymmetrical Closure with a high Standing Black Wool Neckline The same black wool creates the cuffs of the Bracelet length Sleeves It is a translation of a herringbone tweed plaid Side panelled pockets edge the closure and the midriff Waistline is delineated and features a small peplum with a double pointed front the back of the peplum has side slits for added detailing The coloring is almost mystical. It is black with shades of gray, and a barely there lavender Which looks different in varying lights - almost a pale blue, almost a blush. The plaid is nubby and also has a striping of mocha in it. Shoulder pads are built into the jacket Made of 98% Wool, 2% Poly.
