Antique turned dough bowl with a very warm and inviting patina. Character and charm abound in this bowl, with its fantastic woodgrain and coloration, old wire repair holes, the old nail hole for hanging, the stable zig zag age crack (with excellent and expert older epoxy repair), 1-1/2 inch lip and visible turnings, all in a lovely undulating primitive shape. This old bowl is out of round, uneven and has been very lightly surface oiled with an edible oil to enhance the grain. A very large bowl measuring 20" x 19 1/2" x 6 1/2" deep that displays beautifully inside and out with its light to dark curly maple grain. Excellent for table display and wall hanging.
