	Antique French 950 Sterling silver fine engraved box with Jeweled decoration and 3 miniaiture portraits of the family of Louis XVI. Approx. 3 1/2 inches oval and 1 1/2 inches tall. Weighs approx. 150 grams. Box is beautifully engraved with floral decorations and a center cartouche on the back and front of the box...blank and awaiting your initials. Lid is wonderful with a raised trim of 16 colored gemstones surrounding the portraits. A raised crown with garland decoration surround the portraits of Louis XVI, Marie Antoinette and the young Dauphin. The portraits are approx. 3/4 inches. Interior of box in a gold wash. Quite stunning...no marks though of the finest quality. An area of missing wash to the interior and the portraits of Louis and his son have a bit of paint loss
