	Antique American Miniature Portrait of a Military Officer with Hair Art Back. Portrait is approx/ 2 by 2 1/2 inches. Oval portrait with dark blue jacket and red collar. Large blue hat with scarf tied at neck. Grey curled powdered wig and wonderful face. Not signed though painted by an adept hand. Backed by opaline glass with a fantastic hair art design captured at the bottom by a gold thread and 3 seed pearls. Fabulous combination.. Glass has come loose from frame in the front and needs a slight repair. No chips or cracks and wonderful color
