Antique Austrian Porcelain Enameled Pitcher

Antique Austrian Porcelain Pitcher lavishly decorated in gold enameling that is very finely executed in a classical manner on the most glorious shade of green. The central reserve is no doubt the subject of a more famous painting with that style of Angelica Kaufman. The handle is fully gold enameled with some rubbed off highlights of the handle. The pitcher is in excellent condition having only the slightest, most minute, loss of gold at the spout. Underneath you have red and green marks – one is in a very muted shaded red with a fancy W in script surrounded by a wreath with Austria underneath and the other is a green mark with a crown then Vienna and then Austria.

Measurments: 11 3/8”h with a base diameter of 4 ¾”.
