This is a beautiful early c.1920 Fortuny fabric fragment that has been crafted into a pillow. This section of the Fortuny is composed of detailed stylized vines and scrolls in the traditional Fortuny green and brown/beige. The pillow is further highlighted by antique French metallic 3" fringe and Beacon Hill silk velvet. The custom filler is composed of European 25% down/75% feather. The antique fringe and the closure are hand sewn. This is a beautiful antique fabric; it has acquired a rich patina, but has retained all of its integrity with no holes or degradation of the fibers. The soft colors allow this pillow to integrate into a traditional antiques-filled room or to add counterpoint to a modern room. Thank you for looking
