Here is an Antique Vintage Hand Embroidered Print Bag c. 1900 Made for the most sophisticated tastes. the fabrication of this bag could only be duplicated by Scalamandre today. It looks like a perfect print and your eye and fingers show you the delicacy of the stitchery. Colors are Grass Green, Ecru, Pale Blue, Soft Gray and Shades of Pink and Aqua with a hint of yellow The frame is probably made from sterling silver and then gold plated. The closure and end plates are clearly sterling with tiny hand set marquisites. the very end of the frame features bullet shaped ovals of Jadeite. Short Hand-Made Passementerie Handle woven in a shade of the green in the purse. The top frame, both front and back is a horizontal enamel of Yellow Gold, Blue and Green The beauty of each detail in this purse are unmatched. When you pull back the 5 fingered Marcasite clasp The bag opens to reveal a matching green satin with a ruched side pocket. It looks as though this was carried minimally, if at all. the owner purchased this to admire its beauty and to preserve it for future generations. This is a very small jewel of a handbag 6" x 5" High x 2" deep It is a dimensional floral pattern Interior and Exterior are in perfect almost unused condition .
