	Circa 1890-1920. Chinese carved and poly-chromed ivory snuff bottle. This large, superb, ivory snuff bottle is in the form of a fine Chinese lady, probably Han, holding a shrine in her left hand against her breast and a huge peony flower in her right hand. She is elaborately dressed and coiffed. She has tiny deep red lips and is wearing black eyeliner. All the coloring on this ivory figure is in exceptionally good original condition with only minor wear. Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate. 4 1/2" tall x 1 1/4" wide. Price 550.00.
