A Very Beautiful porcelain Fruit Cooler, Circa 1825 to 1830, by Bloor-Derby Porcelains, of England, with delicate floral sprays interspersed on a fine white porcelain body, reminiscent of the Decorations used at Sevres, of France. The handles and rims are gilt with restrained elegance, with rounded details giving a Gadrooned effect on the liner and top band of both the lid and cooler body. Red-colored hand-painted mark on the base, reading "Bloor Derby" surrounding a crown, signifying the concern supplied the Royal Family. Excellent antique condition, with no chips, cracks, or known restoration. Very light wear to the painting and gilding, and "crazing" to the glaze, a common trait of the 1810-1830 Derby Porcelains.
