Antique Doll Surry Stenciled Wood Leather Top

Doll Surry here’s a wonderful tiny Doll Surry dating from the 19th century its all wood and it is decorated with pinstripeing and florals, its got four wheels with metal on the outside and also all pinstripeing on the wheels the old pinstripeing color is gold with a cream white ground, it has cast iron signed peaces and adjust the hood and under the hood is even incredible, with all the decorations still present inside in the foot compartment is the original Victorian carpeting, its worn of course but it is still there, its upholstering in the original leather witch is two tone to match the rest of the sere, the mechanics work very well it rolls nicely, one and only problem that I see is the handle side is a little bit warped and I’ll try to get a picture of that so you can see exactly the problem and one more thing is that there has been an old repair to the left side of the handle and again it is old repair and you cant see it unless you do what I did and turn the Surry over to inspect it further, the handle bar is in a natural color wood and is original, anyway it’s a wonderful little collectable doll series, nice ones are incredibly hard to find these days. Circa 1880-90

Measurements: Measures: across the wheels from front to back to each end of each wheel is 31” long when the tape is run from the front wheel across the back and out to the edge of the handle it measures 36” total, 13” wide across the wheels and 27” hi to the top of the handle
