Antique Dough Bowl - Old Paint
Antiques: Primitive-Folk Art
New England Turned Large Dough Bowl with old Light Robins Egg Blue Milk Paint, circa 19th Century. Purchased from the Martin estate in Maine, there is a "M" carved in the bottom (hardly noticeable). There is a tight age crack and chopping marks in the bottom of the bowl. There is wear, discoloration, stains and dry surface to show its age. Has a hole on the edge with old wire used to hang the bowl on the wall. This lovely primitive bowl could be proudly displayed with your Americana decor
