Baccarat Inkwell with a English Betjemanns partners Inkwell top. Inkwell with elaborate cut miters and ovals. The bottom is Star cut bottom but no baccarat marks, original insert and a bulbous bronze double hinged partners top. The top is engraved Betjemanns 2425 on one of the hinges. Decorated with scroll or acanthus swirl design and leaves on top. Condition: Excellent. Both the Baccarat Inkwell No chips or cracks. The insert is in excellent condition but does have a very minor chip. The lid moves freely both ways. No dents to the lid also in excellent condition. Inkwell is solid and heavy weighing almost 3 3/4 pounds. C-1880 Year: 19c
Measurements: Very large 4 1/2 in diameter 5 1/4 height and weighs approx 3 3/4 lbs.
