Antique English Sterling Silver Repousse Box Caddy

19th century Antique English Sterling Repousse Caddy Box with gold wash interior. The maker, Neresheimer of Hanau is famed for outstanding quality. The lid is of a typical tavern scene, dining and dancing. All four sides depict men and women at work on the sea and beach, a fishing industry underway. English Hallmarks on the inside rim, see enlargements. BM, Berthold Mueller was an import firm, who distributed a lot of Neresheimer silver 925 Dimensions: 4 5/8" width by 2 1/2" height and 2 1/2", the depth of the box is about 3 1/4". Condition: excellent condition.
