	antique fish serving set for 12. There are twelve knives and twelve forks. Hallmarked H Jurgens with the number 800 (for Coin Silver) and two other hallmarks. The hallmarks correspond on the utensil part and the handle. I hope you can see the fine engraving on the fish blades and fork surface. The fish blades have two deeply engraved fish swimming in opposite directions among other aquatic sea life. The engraving is exceptionally fine and elegant. This set is in perfect stunning condition. It is rare to find such a rare service – 24 pieces in all. They are nestled in a fitted box with a baby blue silk interior. The knives measure a tad shy of 9 inches and the forks measure 7 ¾ inches. On the interior of the lid stamp on the baby blue stain or silk are the words F Siebrecht Bof – Fuwelier Braunschweig. I truly suspect that this fish serving set dates from the late 1800’s or the very very early 1900’s. And again in very fine condition in a beautiful presentation box.
