Fore-edge bible with Windsor Castle painted on the gilt gold edge of the Common Book Of Prayer, United Church of England & Ireland. A beautiful velveteen cover with gold edge and clasp. On the inside of the clasp it is marked BARRITT. Written on the inside of the bible is what look to be From her dear little sister L L P Brown LIttle Sister August 17th 1856. Condition is excellent but with some pulling away at the binding of the front of the book. A beautiful example of Fore-edge painting.
