Antique French 3 -d Interior Lithographed Box W/ Miniatures

Approx, 11 1/2 by 9 1/2 by 7 1/2.

This is so interesting... I think it started out as a box though now with the top off..it makes the most amazing basket or container.

Exterior is paper tooled...like a faux leather.

Front scene is under glass.

A drawing room with floor to ceiling curtains showing the outdoors.

2 women in wonderful victorian garb are talking as a young ballerina enters holding a nosegay of flowers.

I think the best part are the 2 Minature paintings on each side of the curtain. They are wonderfully framed inn a gold ball effect.

Condition is quite good with just a bit of discoloration underneath the glass
