Antique French Empire hinged Jewelry box casket. Fabulous gilt bronze mounts with very thick beveled glass on all sides, the top glass having an exquisitely contoured bevel. A very stately patterned velour pillow surrounded by royal blue roping gives a very distinguished masculine effect. A large unmarked cartouche at the front. Excellent condition with no damage to the bronze, no chips or cracks. Measurements: 4" by 4" By 3" height.
