	An antique French late 19th century, Napoleon III period dore bronze, enamel and porcelain pen rest, 19th century. The pen rest is oval in shape with gold enamel geometric motifs and green enamel foliate decoration on the borders followed by by opalescent beaded work with white enamel jeweled inserts which surrounds the delicate hand painted floral garlands and roses in the center. The actual penrest is dore bronze and mounted on a fine floral footed base. In excellent condition with no damage or loss. Measurements: 7" W by 3 1/2" depth, 2 1/2" tall.
